In November, when we remember,
A warrior’s spirit we will see.
With grace and might, a battle she’d fight,
Her battered body now cancer free.
The season is back, the red and black,
With faithful cheers of “Go Dawgs!” she chides.
Her furry friends she always defends,
Sweet Georgia clay beneath their strides.
The memories of dad, joy they had,
With thunder rolling down race car runs.
Now forty-five, with courage and drive,
Her light shines bright like the autumn sun.
