Aprons of red, kettle bells ring;
Army of hope, Jesus your king.
Season of joy, angels on trees;
do the most good, children to please.
Shelter from harm, safety to yield;
programs build lives, painful wounds healed.
Let’s all unite, work we must do;
keepers of faith, help dreams come true.
Author’s Notes:
In honor of The Salvation Army and the Women’s Auxiliary. Thank you for all you do.
